Dear Prospective Cell Phone Customer:

We are seeing some big changes in cell phone plans.  Many of us are looking at plans that seem to have everything we want.  These plans are varied and we are willing to pay whatever it takes to get one of these plans.  Often what we get, however, is not really what we were looking for.  Alltel has given me two plans that are very attractive and both at an attractive price.  These plans are designed specifically for our farmer customers.  This plan is also seamless if you are already an Alltel customer.  You can change to this plan any time.

One of the plans that we now have is called The National Freedom Business Plan, which covers the darker areas below.  (Estimated areas, phone will show solid when roaming) The other plan is the Total Freedom Business Plan that covers most all of the USA.  With the National Plan the chart to the right shows how to tell if you are roaming or not roaming.  Bag Phones are an absolute bad deal if you ever get away from home so please upgrade to a newer phone if you take this plan.  If you are not an Alltel customer now you will probably have to upgrade to a new phone.

The following plans allow a seamless switch from your present Alltel plan to our Alltel plan.

National Freedom Plan:  There will be no long distance charges from the dark areas on the map to a US number.  There will be free mobile-to-mobile on all calls made from the dark areas to another Alltel phone in the dark area. Anytime minutes will be used if your  phone is not in our calling area. (Roaming charges would apply to the Alltel phone out of its calling area)  We will have free calling from the dark areas each night from 9 PM until 5:59 AM weekdays, and then all weekends.  Charges will average  $1.00/minute for calls you make while roaming and $ .59/minute for calls you receive while roaming.  We will pool from 31,500 minutes.  Because of the large number of pooled minutes, I will let all accounts pool their own minutes together. (1000 maximum per account with $37.00 plans only and 1800 maximum with 50% middle or upper tier plans).

As you can see there are some great advantages to these programs.  However, and there is always a however, there are some down sides to these plans.  As you can see, an area just to the west of Kansas City (A very small area up by Atchison) will be roaming and you could pick up a roaming tower in some cities.  Some of the Oklahoma Panhandle will be roaming as well as parts of Texas.  If that is a problem then you may need to look at our Total Freedom Plan below. *

Here are a few features of our National Freedom plan.

So far we have never hit 28,000 anytime minutes with this plan.  However, if you do go over on a month that we do hit it, it will cost $ .45 per minute. (This should never happen with the pooling feature and reasonable care, but you will have to watch your own usage)

*The Total Freedom Plan, our second plan, gives you 350 minutes of anytime minutes, unlimited M2M minutes and 1000 nights and weekends and costs $43.00 per month.  You will also pool with the other phones on this plan but it is very limited so be sure and understand all of the minutes must be watched closely.  Free long distance to any US number is also included in this plan.

Please take a moment and study the plans above.  I feel we have a lot to offer with these plans and I hope we can get together on one or more of these plans in the near future. One more note!  If you make the kind of calls that require a lot of “Anytime Minutes” this plan is not for you.  This is a farmer based plan and we must keep “Anytime Minutes” open certain times of the year for those customers.  Feel free to call me anytime at 620-855-3407 or my cell phone, 620-338-6201 for any questions you may have.

Thanks, Pete Thomas.

*Includes access fees that Alltel adds to all lines. Tax, insurance and any other extra charges are not included in this price.  $44.31 is the total bill per phone on the $38.00 plan.
